Audition Song Ideas for The Prom

Hi Everyone,

As you know I love researching and helping with choosing songs for auditions.  I have put together a list of song ideas with links.  The links are not for background tracks but more for just hearing the song and seeing if you like it as an option.  Most of the songs that I have listed have tracks that you can find on YouTube  If there is a song that jumps out at you and you need help finding a track or sheet music, please reach out to me so I can help you.  (just email Chris or  I am happy to help but please don’t wait until the last minute.  I tried to give options that would be good for each of the characters as well as for ensemble.  If you prefer sheet music, pianotrax.com and musicnotes.com are two great resources.  It isn’t free but if you’d like want to use sheet music and cannot find it and need help with purchasing it, please talk to Chris or myself and we will help you out.  Lastly, remember these are just some ideas that I came up with – it is not mandatory that you pick something from this list of songs.  I can’t wait to hear from you and get started on The Prom!!!!!
