FRIDAY, February 5, 2016 from 4:00pm to 9:30pm at Marysville-Pilchuck High School
Junior Band Night is where students like you join with the MPHS Tomahawk pep band and perform for the fans at a basketball game. You get the chance to practice with the high school band as well as with your individual section. You finish off the exciting day playing with the MPHS Pep Band at a Varsity Basketball game and cheering along with the cheerleaders! It is a rewarding experience you will never forget!
Junior Band Night is an exciting tradition here at MPHS. The evening starts at 4:00 pm and ends roughly at 9:30 (at the conclusion of the basketball game). Each student needs to get their own transportation to and from MPHS. They will rehearse and play games with the mighty Tomahawk Band. At 6:30, the students will be enjoying a Pizza Feed together (for those that have paid for this part) and learning cheers from the MPHS Cheerleaders.
Student are to be dropped off at the MPHS Auditorium at the check in table from 3:30 - 4:00 pm, when they will go into the auditorium to rehearse as a full pep band, including the Tomahawks, led by the MP Drum Majors. At 6:00 pm, we will have a pizza feed (optional buyin) and then proceed to the MP gym to perform at the Basketball game. Parents need to pick up their student from the check in door at the Mp auditorium.
As always, parents are more than welcome to stay and watch, however there is a fee for non-student participants to enter the gym.
Participation is FREE, however there is the opportunity to purchase Junior Band Night TShirt and Pizza Feed
