You're Welcome at the Probus Club of Mount Martha Inc

About us

You're welcome at the Probus Club of Mount Martha Inc. The club was founded in 1985 to serve the town and the surrounding area. We welcome active retired and semi-retired men from all walks of life. The Club meets on the second Tuesday  of each month at 9.30 am at Mount Martha House, on the Esplanade, Mount Martha.

The meeting starts with general discussions about the Club's activities, and is then followed by a talk from a well-known speaker. On conclusion of the meeting at about 12 noon, many of us then go to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

The Club also organizes visits to places of particular interest, as well as trips to local cultural events for our members and their wives or partners.  Our Club's special interest groups embrace many aspects of life. Social outings, coach trips, current affairs discussion group, golf, tennis, lawn bowls, walking, computer skills, wine bottling and major theatrical shows are the yearly norm. A subscription of $60 covers annual membership, with a joining fee of $40.

Mount Martha Men's Probus has provided the stimulus for discussion through like-fellowship and social interaction for the past 32 years. With a compatible membership, through monthly meetings and planned mixed outings, Members and their partners develop regional associations with lasting and mutual integrity. You can follow our history from the link above.
