Thank you for your interest in our study examining the mental health of mothers of children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This website is designed to give you some more detailed information about the study to see if you are still interested in participating.
Who are the researchers?
The primary researcher is Lucy Buchholz, M.A., who is conducting this research for her dissertation at George Mason University under the supervision of Jerome Short, Ph.D.
What is the purpose of the study?
The goal of this study is to investigate the effect of children's ADHD symptoms, stress from daily hassles, optimism, and maternal attributions about children's behavior on the mental health of mothers of children with ADHD.

With your help, we can improve our understanding of the impact of having a child with ADHD on mothers. Participants who complete the study will receive $10.
How to participate
If you would like to participate, click the link below to an electronic survey where you can read more about the study, complete an informed consent form, and complete questionnaires. Then you will be asked to complete a 30-40 minute survey. You will be asked to complete the same survey one month from today. After you complete the second survey, you will then be paid $10 for your participation.
