Hi, I am Md. Mostofa Ali Patwary, a research scientist in the Parallel Computing Lab at Intel, Santa Clara, USA.

Before joining Intel Labs, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University in Illinois, USA, where I worked with Professor Alok Choudhary.

My research interests spans in the areas of high performance engineering, combinatorial scientific computing, parallel algorithms, algorithm engineering, and big data analytics.

I received my PhD from the Department of Informatics at University of Bergen, Norway in November 2011. I was advised by Professor Fredrik Manne. As part of the required work in the PhD program I also worked with Professor Alex Pothen at the Department of Computer Science, Purdue University, USA.

I received my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in February 2004 and November 2006 respectively.
