Podgradska

Krajem 14. st. - 1465. g. U tome vremenu dao je izgraditi Franjevački samostan u Podgradskom jarku.

Podgradska is actually a inhabited part under the old town "Košuta grad" by "Podgradski jarak"(Podgradska's creek). It was inhabited by artisans and merchants which had their houses, gardens, little shops and stores right by the reek. There was church of Saint Martin according to Moslavina documents from 1334. It was a small village because there wasn't nough place under the Košuta grad. Village was very well populated in 1501 because there were Pastor and Chaplain. Ivan Čupor, son of Stjepan Čupor from Moslavina, had been mentioned as the owner of the Podgradska, at the end of 14 th Century.Demetrije II Čupor of Moslavina was a bishop of Zagreb from 1442 to 1465. At that time period Demetrije built Franciscan monastery, right by the Podgradska's creek .

The monastery remains are on the left side of Podgradska's creek near Košuta grad and village "Mustafina Klada". You can go there by macadam road which goes from village "Mustafina Klada" to "Gornja Jelenska". Leads to the monastery mountain path from "Košuta grad". The remains of the monastery were marked with wooden boards.
