Morgan Chapel's food pantry is open every second and fourth Saturday monthly from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Then the king will say to those at his right hand, “Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me." Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?" And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
— Matthew 25:34-40
Morgan Chapel's Food Pantry was started 7 years ago in the basement of a church member with donations of bread and meats from a food store in Prince William, VA. The basement soon ran out of space. Since then, the pantry has grown from helping a few to helping many in Carroll, Howard and Frederick counties area. We assist up to 45 families every two weeks. In times of an uncertain economy and persistent unemployment, there is greater need than ever. We will continue to grow and strive to meet the needs of the people in our community.
Donations are always welcome! We accept all non-perishable items. It is preferred that donations be dropped off at the pantry during our regular hours. If that’s not convenient, other arrangements can be made by calling the church telephone number listed below and please leave a message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
