6. Corrosion Protection

Although modern Morgans have excellent corrosion resistance due to the extensive use of aluminium alloys and stainless steel together with the galvanised chassis, there are still many steel parts on the car which will benefit from careful maintenance. On the older models, there is much than can and does rust.

Regular inspection and treatment with corrosion treatments will pay dividends, especially in the hard-to-get to areas where rust may lurk.

On cars which have normal steel inner wing valances and bulkheads, a particularly vulnerable area is the area where the two overlap. Careful attention here is strongly recommended.
