I am a Maître de conférences (Ass. Prof.) in Economics at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I conduct my research activities at the Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne (UMR CNRS), while I teach undergrad and graduate courses at the École d'Économie de la Sorbonne.
I previously worked as a Research fellow at the Universities of Bologna and Padova. I hold a PhD in 'Economics, Markets, Institutions' from IMT Advanced Studies Lucca and a Laurea (cum laude) in 'Political Science' from the University of Florence.
My research interests cover a broad range of topics in the areas of economics of EU integration, public economics, political economy, and financial economics.
Since 2018, I have been co-organizer of the 'Workshop on formal and informal institutions for growth and development'.
