Colonial Moravian Surnames A-L

Members of the Moravian Church began emigrating to North America in 1738, mostly on Moravian-owned vessels. Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania was the center of activity from 1741. Later, the Moravians purchased the 100,000-acre Wachovia tract in North Carolina. The first settlers arrived there in 1753.

These surname links were contributed by many genealogists. Thank you all for sharing your many hours of research with us. If we cooperate, we can accomplish exciting things!
