2019-2020 Training Opportunities

Self-Regulation

Sept. 17 - CCC Framework Overview & Self-Regulation
This will provide an overview of the College & Career Competency Framework and an in-depth exploration of the intrapersonal competency self-regulation, culminating in each team member writing an instructional plan for embedding self-regulation instruction in their role/content area.

Oct. 29 - Reflection on Self-Regulation Instruction
This will include a facilitated data-based decision making process to identify successes and challenges, as well as ways to refine instruction efforts moving forward. It will also include facilitated planning for expanding instruction to a broader group within your school (e.g., all content area teachers, all grade level teachers, school-wide, etc.)

On-site Self-Regulation Training for expanded audience
This 6 hour training will be scheduled individually for each school at their convenience; a MO PSS trainer will provide the same content that the team received on 9/17, but to an expanded audience within the school (this can be the group identified during the 10/29 planning, but it doesn't have to be). It can be scheduled for any date after 9/17; if your school is unable to schedule the full 6 hours in a single day, we can schedule for 2 days.
