        We are a competitive swim club based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. We also offer "I Can Swim", a learn to swim program. 
    The competitive season runs from September until June. It includes several swim meets in Saskatchewan with some out of province options.

    The "I Can Swim" program from September until May. It consists of three sessions, 10 weeks each.

    Our meets are a mix of short course (25 metres) and long course (50 metres). Meets that the club hosts at the Kinsmen Sportsplex are short course but our June meet at the Phyllis Dewar Outdoor pool is long course. 

    Our swimmers range in ability from Minis, Beginners, Recreational and Competitive swimmers ranging in ages from 4 to 18 years of age.

    If you are a swimmer in Moose Jaw or surrounding communities and are interested in learning to swim or competitive swimming then MJKFF is for YOU !

    • Minifins Slots available for Session 3 (beginning week of March 10) Stage 1:  As per board policy (December 2013) , our Stage 1 slots will only be offered to those individuals who have other family members already vested in the club.  Contact Heather Gobbett at hgobbett@sasktel.net if you have questions.Any 'new' swimmers to the club must meet the requirements of our Stage 2 groups.¨Stage 2: DEEP END (new swimmers welcome)  Two Spots:  1 is  M/W 7-7:30;  1 is T/Th 6:30-7Stage 4:  DEEP END (new swimmers welcome) Three spots available:  M/W 6:30-7

    • MJKFF Class II Time Trial February 7, 2014 The team will be hosting a sanctioned time trial on Friday, February 7th at the Kinsmen Sportplex.  This is a closed meet, our team will be the only one there. As it is sanctioned, this means the times for the swimmers are official and the results posted on the Swim Canada meet results. There will be no consent forms sent out for the meet.     • Minifins Registration - Session 2 (only) If you are interested in registering your child for Session 2, please see below: Availability:  Four (4) Minifin Stage 2 slots available for Session 2 only.   No availability in Minifins Stage 1, 3 or 4. Qualifications:  Child must be able to swim the length of the deep end (back and forth). Procedures: Please email Heather at hgobbett@sasktel.net if you would like to register. First come, first serve.  We will then set up a try-out for your child - likely on Thursday Nov. 28 at 7:00pm.

    • Update from Head Mini Fins Coach Welcome to all new and returning families to another exciting year with the Flying Fins.  This year is a special year as we are making lots of changes.  We started with basically a whole new staff including new Head Coach Gord Shields.  He has been making some positive changes for the club.  This year we are going to be working quite a bit on progression.  We want to make sure we get the best performance out of each and every swimmer.  As we have just passed the mid way point for the first session it seems to be working fairly well.  At the beginning of the year we chose the times for your swimmer based on skills and abilities.  It ...
