President's Message: 2015-2016  Lynne Gaffney

On behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of Montville, welcome to our club’s website and thank you for taking the time to visit.

Founded in 1905, Rotary International is recognized as the world’s first volunteer service organization. Today there are more than 1.2 million Rotarians in 34,000 Rotary Clubs, located in 200 countries around the world. Rotary International’s motto “Service Above Self” is the guiding principle as we focus our efforts on providing service within our communities and throughout the world.

Since 1983, Montville Rotarians have been actively involved in a wide variety of both community service and international humanitarian projects. Some of these include local scholarship programs, creating and maintaining Little Free Libraries, supporting Rotary’s International Polio Eradication Initiative, providing nutritious meals for the homeless, distributing holiday food baskets. In addition, the Montville Rotary Club has been a long time source of financial support to many local organizations, including the VNA, Coogan Farm, and many many others.

If you are interested in learning more about Rotary and becoming a member of the Montville Rotary, please feel free to contact me or any club member.
