Welcome to the Montine Lab website.
We use the tools of precision medicine to pursue our goal of preventing or slowing the progression of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. We employ several experimental approaches to achieve our goal including biochemistry, pharmacology, and pathology of neurodegenerative disease.
Our lab is moving to Stanford University in the Spring of 2016 where Dr. Montine will be the Stanford Medicine Professor in Pathology and Chair of the Department of Pathology. We will rebuild our web page once at Stanford.
We will continue to lead the Pacific Northwest Udall Center (one of the Morris K. Udall Centers of Excellence for Parkinson's Disease Research) and will be closely aligned with the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Stanford University.
We have a wide range of outstanding training experiences for smart, motivated students and post-doctoral fellows who share our goal.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Thanks for visiting.
