Montgomery Pet Partners, Inc. (MPP) is a non-profit organization
using the human-animal bond to improve the literacy skills of children in
schools and libraries, educate students in the care, handling, and welfare of
pets, and enhance the quality of life in individuals in hospitals and senior
facilities. As a group of volunteers in
combination with pets, we use this naturally occurring affection connection
between people and pets to fulfill our mission.
WHAT WE DO
Montgomery Pet Partners has four areas for volunteering: Hospitals; Senior Facilities; Libraries; and
Schools. In our schools we use the
Reading Education Assistance Dogs® (R.E.A.D.®) program. Each area has its own challenges and
rewards. You can find more information about
each discipline in one of the tabs on the left.
