According to both Jewish and Christian apologists, the Holy Spirit inspired men to write down God's words. The Holy Spirit cannot contradict, for God does not contradict himself. The problem? The bible does contradicts itself in numerous passages in both old/new Testaments.

2 Peter 1:20-21 “First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but by men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

Hello and welcome to my report on biblical contradictions. In this document, you will not find someone proselytizing to convert you to some religion or faith. Instead, this document focuses heavily on Judeo-Christian biblical contradictions, and makes the reader aware through quotes used from the bible itself of irreparable errors within that religions faith. What the reader chooses to do with this knowledge is up to the individual.

A little about myself: I was born into a Christian-reared family in 1977 and grew up in the churches. I never took them seriously – as a mater of fact, you could say I was the ultimate rebel – until I had a dream, more like a vision, where I saw where my soul would go if I had died right then and there. That feeling of fear and solitude in the blackness (I was not in Hell, but Limbo, between Heaven and Hell) was quite overwhelming and enough to get me to start looking at religion with more integrity. From that point on, I took the word of god seriously and read the bible front to back twice, the latter time with an English to Greek annotated bible. It was soon after that I felt a close connections with the Lord. I became saved, gave my life over to Jesus, and lived a wholesome Christian life always repenting of my sins, however this grew old fast! About the time I was growing weary of the constant feeling I was sinning – sinning for not tithing enough, sinning for thinking a sexual thought, sinning for not thinking of god enough – I met up with my childhood friend, a devout Jehovah Witness – the amount of study those guys have done on the word of god is astounding. I learned so much about the bible from studying my friend, however it was from studying with him that I found out, quite unintentionally, that there were many contradictions in the bible! I saw many fallacies in what I was reading and decided to begin doing a little research into biblical contradictions. What I found out changed my life forever!

What’s This All About?

I have read over and over hundreds of supposed “contradictions” within the bible, from websites of atheists, to pastors rebuking these supposed contradictions. Using an English to Greek annotated bible, I have been able to easily dismiss many of these contradictions as language mistranslations (such as an English word having two separate meanings, an English word that does not mean exactly what it is being translated from, a Hebrew word describing an action for which there is no known English equivalent so one was made up, etc.). Others were easy to dismiss because the people writing some of the contradictions I read were being too literal and didn’t seem to be aware of what the bible was actually teaching, because if they did, they’d of known that what seems like a contradiction on the surface is not always one in the greater context of things. Still others weren’t contradictions at all. In summation, I took out all the erroneous contradictions, leaving only what I felt is solid evidence of biblical contradictions. It is with the greatest of certainty that I choose the passages I did for this report, thus I can say with complete confidence that this compilation is in all regards the real deal.
