MDC is a non-governmental organisation, based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Since 1993 it has been engaged in a process of education for children and youth, as well as the development of the capacities of individuals and groups at the grassroots level, to contribute to the betterment of their communities.
It is dedicated to serving society by empowering individuals, communities and institutions through education and training to systematically learn about and effectively serve the sustainable process of building a new civilization, prosperous in the material, social, intellectual and spiritual sense.
The Mongolian Development Centre is currently implementing three main programmes; the Early Childhood Development Programme, the Junior Youth Empowerment Programme, the Community Capacity Development Programme. In planning and implementing these programmes and consulting and reflecting on the results with all participants, it is constantly learning and incorporating new insights into the programmes.
