Welcome!
MOMS Club® Houston - Far Northwest, TX
MOMS Club® Houston - Far Northwest, TX
We are a group of Moms Offering Moms Support® (MOMS), and we are a chapter of the International MOMS Club®. Our mission is to provide support, foster community, and serve those around us, especially mothers and children. Motherhood can be isolating, especially with young children. We have a thriving community with a monthly calendar of daytime activities for moms and children, age based playgroups, and monthly mom's night out. When a mom needs support, our club is able to offer support through meals, an assistance program for natural disasters, and tangible aid. Throughout the year, we also participate in service projects, teaching our children the value of caring for those around us. All moms are welcome - from those at home with infants to those with children who have entered school.
Our club is volunteer-based and member-driven. An elected executive board plans and coordinates the club’s activities, but our members are what make the chapter thrive.
Membership:
Want to try us out first? Prospective members may either attend 2 business meetings or 1 business meeting and 1 park day before joining. Just contact us for more information and future dates! Dues are $25 per year. The dues fund our service projects, administration, and events. We understand that staying at home to raise your children can sometimes create a strain on your budget. If the dues will create a hardship for your family, please let us know. We may be able to help.
Our Boundaries:
In general, we serve the area between Katy Hockley Road, Clay Road, and 290, as well as the area between 290, 249, 1960 and Beltway 8.
Not in our boundaries? Check HERE for links to other chapters. Some chapters are up and running but may not have a website, so if you don't see one, please contact MOMS Club International to find out about the club in your area.
