Mohammad Mozaffari received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, the M.Sc. degree in Geomatics engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Virginia Tech in 2018. He is an Experienced Researcher with Ericsson, Santa Clara, USA. His research interests span diverse areas, such as 5G wireless networks, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications, Internet of Things, and machine learning. He received a 2019 Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. He is the recipient of the 2019 IEEE ComSoc Young Author Best Paper Award. He received the Exemplary Reviewer Award for IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS in 2018. He has actively served as a reviewer for flagship IEEE Transactions and Conferences, and participated as the Technical Program Committee Member for a variety of workshops, such as ICC 18- “UAVs in 5G,” GLOBECOM 17-“Wi-UAV,” and GLOBECOM 16-“Internet of Everything.
