Welcome to The American Experience. Please note that calendars are linked below.  The American Experience students are currently studying a unit entitle Finding Self-Identity in America's Melting Pot. As per the course description, students will be analyzing salient music, television programs, and film during each unit to go along with reading selections made by each student.  For this unit, selections include:
            • Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
            • The Color of Water by James McBride
            • The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
            • Into the Wild by John Krakauer
            • 19 Minutes by Jodi Picault
As other handouts are given, they will also be available here in the event you need an additional copy.The most important link you will need for this class is the address to our blog site. This is where you will complete all blog assignments for the semester. Be sure to read the requirements of each carefully.  

Please note that the calendars explain both in-class lesson content as well as the homework assignment for that evening (meaning that it is due the next class unless otherwise specified).
