Modyland, first launched in December 2000, was originally my teaching, instruction, and coaching website in my ays as an English and (some years) social studies teacher at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, Ballston Spa High School, and Mohanasen High School. After 13 years in the classroom, I made the jump to administration, serving as assistant principal at Queensbury High School & at BH-BL, before becoming principal at South Glens Falls High School.
Modyland was originally designed as a resource for students, parents, and staff to provide additional resources, allowing students to achieve their educational goals. It included homework links, online notes, e-texts, in-class handouts, and integrated media (such as blogs, podcasts, and video projects). If a link appears broken, please e-mail me directly. Modyland is currently in its fourth machination, as it begins its transformation into a site for student management resources, including my work with educational technology and most recently Restorative Justice.
