Sibley County Historical Society

The mission of the Sibley County Historical Society is to not only collect and preserve the history of Sibley County, but also to connect it to the history of Greater Minnesota. Their museum is housed in the August F Poehler house, which was built from locally produced brick and mill work, in 1884. The house is now on the National Registry of Historic Places and was placed there in 1982.
