Joseph R. Brown Heritage Society

    The Joseph R. Brown Heritage Society operates as a non-profit organization that devotes itself to ensuring the continuation current research, financial resources, and the continuation of volunteer efforts.  This is all done to continuing the Joseph R. Brown Research Library, and the Joseph R. Brown Minnesota River Center; both are located in a historic courthouse in Henderson, MInnesota.
Through the Library and the Center, they strive to bring the interlinked cultural and ecological stories of the MN River Valley and the history of Joseph R. Brown; Brown was the founder of Henderson, as well as a statesman and a 19th century entrepreneur.
