Beaver Falls County Park

beaver falls.jpg
Until 1900, Beaver Falls was the Renville County seat, containing a hotel, flour mill, general store, school, saloon, hardware store, lumber mill, and brewery.  In 1900 the seat was moved to its current location in Olivia and the town's population fell until its eventual abandonment.  The site of the old town of Beaver Falls is now the Beaver Falls County Park.  The only remnant of the town that once was there is the Beaver Falls Cemetery on County Road 2, west of the park entrance.
The park itself is available for camping, hiking, and picnicking.
