Wheels Across the Prairie Museum

The Wheels Across the Prairie Museum is located in the city of Tracy, Minnesota and aims to help guide its visitors through history of the area. This village museum boasts 8 exhibit buildings with plans to continue expanding in the future Some of these exhibits include the Monroe Town Hall, Veterans' Monument and St. Marks Episcopal church. Each exhibit building is real, and furnished with genuine artifacts. Some of the buildings, like the post office and barber shop are authentic buildings while others such as the chapel and 1930's cottage are replicas, but each is historically accurate in it's construction and furnishings. The museum also features other collections throughout the buildings and town such as cars, tractors and other various machinery.
