Regional River History and Information Center

River Ranger Program - Hooked on Rivers
The Information Center provides computer access to information from the Minnesota River Basin Data Center located at the Minnesota State University campus in Mankato. The Water Resources Center keeps data upgraded with research results readily available for public use. The location serves as an easily accessible off-campus site for research and as the office for the Coalition for a Clean Minnesota River (CCMR). The History Center documents and compiles regional history through hands-on displays, photographs, newspaper articles, and ongoing slide presentations during event weekends. The History Center also sponsors a River Ranger project of environmental education programs, field trips, and clean-up outings.
