2014 Minnesota State National Geographic Bee
Final Round Moderator
KARE 11 anchor and reporter Jeremiah Jacobsen will moderate this year’s final round of the Minnesota State National Geographic Bee. Jeremiah is originally from the St. Cloud area, where he graduated from Technical High School, before getting his Mass Communications degree from St. Cloud State University. Jeremiah has more than a dozen years of experience as a television journalist, including stints with stations in Alexandria, Rochester, and Fort Myers, Florida. He has also won two Upper Midwest Regional Emmy awards for his work. Jeremiah can currently be seen anchoring the very early edition of the news at 4:30 a.m. on KARE 11, as well as reporting for KARE 11 Sunrise.
