Round 6 Application Deadline

Community Reinvestment Fund

The Community Reinvestment Fund was established as part of the Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability to ensure that traditionally underserved and marginalized populations have the opportunity to get involved in the planning process at all levels of government.  The Fund is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development Sustainable Communities program to the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission as part of the Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability. The Fund is administered by the Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Council and has an oversight board of ten members.  The Community Reinvestment Fund provides opportunities for nonprofit organizations in the tri-county area (Clinton, Eaton & Ingham counties) to engage traditionally underserved and marginalized populations in planning at all levels of government. A complete list of current grantees can be found here

The sixthh and final round of applications will be accepted between February 7, 2014 and March 14, 2014. You can download the application form on the left side of this page.  Please plan to attend one of the Community Information Sessions (listed at the left) or you are welcome to contact the Fund Administrator, Julie Powers, at (517) 292-3078 (please include the area code) or via email at midmeac@gmail.com.
