President's Message

We are a group of fiber enthusiasts, that love getting together to talk about our adventures with fiber and improving our skills.
We welcome  everyone to join us, find out when our next meeting will take place and just drop by!  In this website you will find information on how to find us, what we are up to and how to contact us.

The array of blossoms and so many shades of green outside mean that spring is definitely, and finally,
underway. I'm enjoying soaking up as much "outside time" as I can. Do you ever knit outdoors when the
weather is pleasant? It seems there are many opportunities to do so, with patio seating more prevalent at
restaurants and coffee shops. Do you have a favorite place to KIP knit in public?

Many thanks to Sarah Peasley for her presentation on "loser" projects that didn't quite turn out as expected and
to all of you who participated!

Our annual kick-off to summer is on May 19. Besides enjoying what is always a great pot-luck dinner, the
stash relocation sale and show & tell, we'll conduct a bit a business to wrap up our year and elect new officers.
I look forward to seeing all you there!

I want to extend a big "Thank you" to all of you and especially to the officers, committee chairpersons and former
officers for all you do and for your support this year; you made my tenure as President a great experience.

    Happy Knitting. See you soon,

    Pam Rasher, President

Losers! An Upside-Down Show and Tell
Sarah Peasley will lead a discussion on projects you have made that did not
work for any reason. Bring those problem projects that are in the back of the
closet that need "new eyes" to help work through the problems to finish. Bring
a finished object that did not meet expectations so we can dissect the reasons
for the failures and come up with possible angles that might have avoided the
disappointment. Bring your own theories of the problem, and the group may
    have alternate solutions.
