Designed for local services in Ofotfjorden, and from 1936 acted as Hurtigrute relief ship for Nordnorge. Following the loss of the latter she was used on Trondheim to Narvik services, with local calls north of Bodø.


Bombed and sunk near Tranøy on 12 September 1941 by aircraft operating from carrier HMS Victorious.
