Built by Trondhjems M/V, Trondheim, for Ofotens Dampskibsselskab, delivered on 19 August 1929. Shipyard number, 195. Cost, 420,000 kroner.

 

424 gross, 234 nett tonnes. Registered length 142.0 feet, overall length 152.9 feet, beam 24.0 feet, depth 10.9/16.3 feet. 68 nom. HP, 560 IHP TMV triple expansion engine, 12 knots.

 

Designed for local services in Ofotfjorden, and from 1936 acted as Hurtigrute relief ship for Nordnorge. Following the loss of the latter she was used on Trondheim to Narvik services, with local calls north of Bodø.

 

Bombed and sunk near Tranøy on 12 September 1941 by aircraft operating from carrier HMS Victorious.
