Built by Trondhjems M/V, Trondheim, for Vesteraalens Dampskibsselskab, delivered in September 1912. Shipyard number, 151.

 

1,119 gross, 659 nett, 580 deadweight tonnes (some sources state 987 gross tonnes). Registered length 214.2 feet, overall length 226.3 feet, beam 31.9 feet, depth 15.7 feet. 242 nom. HP, 1,550 IHP, TMV triple expansion engine.

 

Rebuilt, modernised, converted to oil-firing at Götaverken, Göteborg from December 1945 to November 1946. 1,197 gross, 836 nett, 350 deadweight tonnes.

 

On Hurtigrute from 1912 to 1956.

 

Renamed Vågan in January 1956, laid up April 1956. Sold in January 1957 to Rogaland Sjøguttskole, Stavanger, for 600,000 kroner, renamed Gann, used as training ship for young people, while simultaneously offering coastal cruises. Sold in December 1960 for breaking up in Netherlands.
