2,611 gross, 1,355 nett, 662 deadweight tonnes. Overall length 268.8 feet, beam 43.6 feet, depth 22.0 feet. 3,325 BHP, 7-cylinder DM 742 VT 2 BF-90 B&W diesel, built under licence by Akers M/V, 16.5 knots.


Major refit at Kaarbøs M/V from December 1985 to February 1986. Became part of Ofotens og Vesterålens Dampskibsselskab fleet on 1 January 1988. 


On Hurtigrute from 1964 to 1996. First sailing on 11 June 1964, final sailing in March 1996.


Sold in August 1996 to Templeman Shipping, Panama, renamed Worldlink. Sold the same year to Universal Enterprises, Mali, renamed Island Explorer, rebuilt in Greece for cruising. Sold for breaking up in India in February 2006
