Built by Bergens M/V, Bergen, for Det Stavangerske Dampskibsselskab, delivered in May 1964. Shipyard number, 433. Cost, 16,500,000 kroner.


2,604 gross, 1,345 nett tonnes, cargo capacity 25,000 cubic feet. Overall length 286.8 feet, beam 43.6 feet, depth 22.0 feet. 3,325 BHP, 7-cylinder 2T B&W DM diesel, built under licence by Akers M/V, 17.5 knots. 400 HP Liaaen bow thrust.


Sold in April 1980 to Vesteraalens Dampskibsselskab. Major refit in March 1986 (3,750,000 kroner). Became part of Ofotens og Vesteraalens Dampskibsselskab fleet on 1 January 1988.


On Hurtigrute from 1964 to 1997. Last sailing on 30 April 1997.


Sold on 2 July 1997 to Andaman Club of Bangkok, Thailand, for cruising. Retained original name, still in service in 2006.
