Sold in September 1979 to Troms Fylkes Dampskibsselskab.


Major refit at Mjellem & Karlsen and fitted with new 3,600 BHP, 8-cylinder 4T DM MaK diesel, returned to service on 23 March 1983.


On Hurtigrute (regularly) from 1956 to 1994. Last sailing on 13 December 1994.


Operates summer cruises to Svalbard, and was back on the Hurtigrute from 9 September 1995 to 18 March 1996, and also in subsequent winters, as Antarctic cruise programme for Nordkapp and later for Nordnorge as well evolved. Does not feature (yet) in plans for 2007/8 winter.
