Built by Cantieri Riuniti di Ancona, Ancona, for Det Stavangerske Dampskibsselskab, delivered May 1950. Shipyard number, 232. Cost, 9,660,000 kroner.

 

2,095 gross, 1.086 nett, 560 deadweight tonnes. Overall length 267.7 feet, beam 41.0 feet, depth 14.2/21.5 feet. 2,500 BHP, 8-cylinder 2T EV DM Fiat diesel, 15 knots. After part rebuilt (as on Erling Jarl and Vesterålen) in February 1961 at Rosenberg M/V, Stavanger. Gross tonnage increased to 2,172, nett to 1,155.

Stranded and sank near Nordøyan, Folla, on 21 October 1962.
