Welcome to the Marine Mammal 60k run! The run will be held on October 19, 2019, beginning at 7 am. It will start and finish at The Marine Mammal Center parking lot located at 2000 Bunker Road, Fort Cronkhite, Sausalito, CA 94965.

The course is as follows:

TMMC START - Muir Beach (mile 6.2): 6.2 miles
Coastal Trail over Wolf Ridge and Pirate Cove
 
Muir Beach (mile 6.2) - Pantoll (mile 15.8): 9.6 miles
Redwood Creek - Heather Cutoff - Cardiac (course monitor) - Dipsea - Steep Ravine
 
Pantoll (mile 15.8) - Muir Woods (mile 23.5): 9.7 miles
Alpine - Bootjack - Pelvin - Lost - Sun - Dipsea
 
Muir Woods (mile 23.5) - Tennessee Valley (mile 30.5): 7 miles
Dipsea - Deer Park - Frank Valley - Kent Ln - Redwood Creek - Miwok - Hwy 1 - Miwok
 
Tennessee Valley (mile 30.5) - TMMC FINISH (mile 39): 8.5 miles
Marincello - Alta - SCA - Slackers (0.4 miles out-n-back) - Julian - Bunker Rd - Rodeo Valley - Miwok

The following shortcuts can be used:

1. Muir Beach back to TV via Green Gulch
2. Cardiac to Pantoll directly
3. Deer Park to Frank Valley Rd and Shortcut 1.
4. TV to TMMC via Miwok.

These facilities are available on the course:

Muir Beach - restroom
Green Gulch (a short detour) - water
Heather Cutoff Bridge - toolshed faucet before and kitchen sink after
Cardiac - water
Pantoll - water, restroom
Muir Woods - water

Aid will be provided at these locations and times:

TMMC (next 6.2) 7:00
Muir Beach (mile 6.2, next 9.6) 8:00 - 8:45
Pantoll (mile 15.8, next 9.7) 9:45 - 11:15
Muir Woods (mile 23.5, next 7) 11:15 - 13:15
Tennessee Valley (mile 30.5, next 8) 12:45 - 14:00
TMMC 14:15 - 17:00
