The Word's Out - The East End Trio Is "Big Fun!"

Comments from Libraries, Schools, and Parks

"Hi. I attended a show your group did this weekend at the Sachem library. I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I was spending the day with my father and three aunts who spend their Sundays at these free concerts. I want you to realize the happiness you brought to this roomful of seniors. My family couldn't stop talking about it....the performance was excellent. I will keep my eyes out for you at the vineyards..... Thanks again."

"The East End Trio proved to be very talented and entertaining, giving a new twist to familiar music and making it their own. Our audience loved them!"

"We loved having the East End Trio at the Mastics-Moriches Library for a tribute to Valentine's Day. The songs brought back great memories, and it was touching to see the age diversity throughout the audience. These timeless classic tunes were enjoyed by a vast array of generations whose smiling faces and singing voices were wonderful to see and hear. Thanks for a great time. And we hope to have you back again."

"What a wonderful afternoon our patrons had listening to The East End Trio! The music was delightful - real "feel good" kind of music - and the musicians were so personable. Everyone was raving about how terrific they were. We're sure to have them back again!"

"Despite the torrential rain on the day of our first outdoor concert, the sun was shining in the library's community room. You made the best of the situation and had our patrons singing, smiling and tapping their feet. Your music is great, your connection with the audience is terrific and your professionalism makes it a pleasure to work with you. We will definitely have you back again. Thanks for a great concert!"

"Just wanted to tell you, Doug, and Scott again how much we enjoyed the Sunday concert at North Shore Library. It truly made our weekend! All of you have such musicality and the harmonies that you and Scott devised were fantastic. Of course, Doug on drums was superb! Great choice of repertoire as well!"

"What a concert!  The East End Trio performed outdoors on Freeport's beautiful Nautical Mile. Their music enticed people to dance and captured the attention of all who walked by. The audience enjoyed a dynamic performance and asked me to bring them back next summer. Of course I will!"

"What BIG FUN it was to sit back and enjoy The East End Trio. I can't remember a time at a library concert where I knew every word to every song! Your music really took my husband and me back to our courtship days when we would lie around for hours listening to James Taylor, America, Donovan, The Beatles, etc.. Thanks for providing us both with a wonderful night and performance. Many of the patrons who attended are asking when you'll be back! Same time next year?"

"We were so honored the East End Trio could entertain at Hofstra University's School of Communication pre-Presidential debate party. I heard nothing but compliments the next day from students and faculty. You do know the group ended up on News12? One of the reasons we loved having the Trio play at our event is because every song was one you could sing along with or dance to...and that's a coup when you have college kids and faculty all in one room!"

"The East End Trio played a reception that the School of Communication hosted for the media at Hofstra during the presidential debates. I could hear the music from across campus and it called people into the tent, inviting them to have some food and fun at the end of a long day. They were the perfect compliment to the pressure and stress of the long days setting up for the debate...a fun, friendly performance, designed to loosen up the crowd, get them dancing and having fun....we couldn't have asked for a better band to welcome our guests.
