Godfather of Hip Hop, DJ Afrika Bambaataa on Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy

On 4/15/11 the MLKCB's own Ben Ortiz sat down with DJ Afrika Bambaataa (Hip Hop pioneer), Joe Conzo (the man who took Hip Hop's baby pictures), and DrShaka Zulu (Universal Zulu Nation) to talk about Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy and impact.

Bam, Joe, and DrShaka were in Ithaca on April 14th & 15th for "Born in the Bronx: Afrika Bambaataa, Hip Hop, & Radical Peace," a symposium about Hip Hop coordinated by Cornell University's American Studies Program and the Cornell Library Division of Rare & Manuscript Collections (the caretaker of the Cornell Hip Hop Archive, which features artifacts donated by Bam & Joe).
