About me

Yu Liu

    • I used to study high-level parallel programming with algorithmic skeletons, such as Map & Reduce, and got a Ph.D in Informatics, @National Institute of Informatics (Tokyo, Japan).
  • The main contribution of my PhD research comes out as a framework for high level parallel programming, which provides expressive and flexible syntaxes with capability of automatic parallelization and optimization in backend.
    • I am working in software industry as an engineer, architect and researcher, concentrate on large scale data processing, management and analytics, sometimes do people management also.
