I am an Associate Professor of Economics at LUMSA University (Rome–Palermo, Italy). I hold an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and a Laurea in Economics from Bocconi University.
My research explores how institutions, governance, and policy shape economic outcomes. I focus on environmental and climate policy, institutional economics and commons governance, law & economics, and the economics of corruption. Methodologically, I combine theoretical modelling with empirical analysis, including econometrics, spatial data techniques, and GIS-based analysis.
