I was pulling back the curtain divider for the gym and realized I did not have a way to secure the curtain to the hook anymore since our bungee cord snapped. After scrummaging through the office I found a small piece of rope I use for teamwork challenges and decided to use that for the job. I tied one end to the hook and then realized I had no idea how to make the knot I wanted. I knew the look of the knot but not the name or how to actually do it.
So I did what any person in their right mind would do for quick information…YouTube! In less than two minutes I found the video, watched the part I needed, tied the knot, and went about my day. I don't need to remember how to do it when I can look up the information in less time than it takes to make a Hot Pocket (add in cooling down and eating time and YouTube has this beat by FAR).
This is the way of learning in the digital age.
