Amanda Mills is an instructor and librarian at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. She is also the current Chair-Elect for ARLD, the Academic and Research Libraries Division of MLA/our local chapter of ACRL, ALA’s Association of College and Research Libraries. Amanda likes to think of leadership as something all library and information professionals can do, not just those in management positions. She is passionate about information literacy and the future of libraries; regarding the future of library leadership, she would like to see a profession/libraries where we are all empowered to “lead from the middle.”
