I am actively recruiting students! If you believe our interests may overlap and you are a UNO graduate student, feel free to send me an email or drop by my office.
My chief research interests is programmer productivity, which spans the spectrum from software engineering to program analysis, addressing related issues to make it easier to develop, maintain and evolve large scale software systems.
Prior to coming to UNO, I was a postdoc in the Center for Advanced Research in Software Engineering (ARiSE) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science in May 2013 from Virginia Tech as a member of the Software Innovations Lab led by Eli Tilevich. Before that, I was a software engineer at Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics for six years, where I developed the network system software and the mobile embedded software, respectively.
