Thank you for visiting my webpage! I'm currently the Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting for the Maine Mariners of the ECHL, entering my sixth year. I've been working in hockey for nearly 15 years with additional significant experience in baseball. I am always actively looking to move up in the business, striving to climb the ladder to the NHL. I'm a proud graduate of SUNY Oswego, class of 2013! Contact me here!

Below are is a single game highlight reel of my most recent work with the Maine Mariners in the 2022-23 season. Many more of my work samples can be found by clicking here! Scroll down this page to read more about me.

The Maine Mariners

I was named the voice of ECHL's Maine Mariners in July of 2018 as Media Relations and Broadcast Manager, and have spent four seasons as the play-by-play voice of the team. With the Mariners, I wear many hats, working closely alongside the marketing department. My duties include (but are not limited to): play-by-play for all games, hosting a monthly coach's show, building and maintaining relationships with local media, writing press releases, producing content for social media, managing the team website, and creating a weekly newsletter. While many of the Mariners staff turned over due to the loss of the 2020-21 season and the pandemic, I was one of the few retained through it all. I am honored to follow in the footsteps of legendary broadcasters Doc Emrick, Joe Beninati and Dale Arnold, who were all voices of the AHL edition Maine Mariners in the 1970s and 1980s.

North American Hockey League & The Northwoods League

I worked within the NAHL - the United States' oldest and largest Junior Hockey League, from 2014 to 2018, serving in similar roles with the Keystone Ice Miners (Connellsville, PA) and the Austin Bruins (Austin, MN). With the Bruins, my non-broadcasting duties included group ticket sales, sponsorship sales, graphic design, public relations, and website and social media management. I was selected to broadcast the 2015 and 2017 NAHL Top Prospects Tournaments in Michigan. In the summer of 2016, I began working for the Rochester Honkers of the Northwoods League. I was the voice of the Honkers for two-and-a-half seasons and was named Play-By-Play Announcer of the Year in 2017.

"The Voice of the Lakers"

I was the radio voice of the Oswego State Lakers men's hockey team for four years from the fall of 2009 through the spring of 2013, beginning to call games in the fall of my freshman year (2009) of college, and finishing as sports director of 88.9 FM WNYO in my senior year (2013). Over the four years, I had the privilege of calling over 100 games - including three SUNYAC championship games, two NCAA DIII championship games, and a total of nine NCAA playoff games. I studied at SUNY Oswego's School of Communication, Media, and the Arts; which boasts alumni such as ESPN SportsCenter anchors Steve Levy and Linda Cohn, and Al Roker of NBC's "Today" show. I graduated Cum Laude in May of 2013. After graduating, I did some freelancing, working with My18 TV Rochester (WBGT) on the "Ralph Honda High School Hockey game of the week," covering Utica College ice hockey for WPNR 90.7, and webcasting two NJPHL Showcases in Rochester, NY (including the championship showcase) - working for MSBN Sports, based out of Minnesota.

Where it all began

Growing up in Rochester, New York, I knew I wanted to be a play-by-play broadcaster from a very young age. Like many other aspiring sports broadcasters, I would commentate my own sports video games, as well as announce live games into an old cassette tape recorder in my basement. Baseball and hockey became my favorite sports as I became a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Buffalo Sabres. In high school, I wrote sports articles for the school newspaper, The Rodequoit. I served as sports editor during my senior year.
