Welcome to the website of Macroeconomics II. The course will cover some of the tools needed for understanding of modern macroeconomics, and some applications. In particular, we will cover:
- Dynamic Programming: review (SLP, chapter 2,4, LS chapter 2)
- Models with Heterogeneous agents: consumption insurance (LS, chapter 16,17, papers)
- Models with Heterogeneous agents: labor search (LS, chapter 6, 28, papers)
- General Equilibrium Theory (SLP, chapter 15)
There will be no class on March 2 and March 4. Make-up classes will take place on February 27 10:30-12:00 and March 13 10:30-12:00
