About
Hello, my name is Michael Zohner. I'm working as a full-time professor in IT Security at Hochschule Fulda.
I did my Ph.D. in IT Security at the Department of Computer Science at Technische Universität Darmstadt where I was part of the Engineering Cryptographic Protocols (ENCRYPTO) group which focuses on tools for the development of efficient privacy-preserving protocols.
Before joining the ENCRYPTO group, I was part of the Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab (ISS) at TU Darmstadt and the CASCADE research group where I worked in the area of side-channel analysis.
During my Ph. D., I contributed to various research projects such as:
The European Center for Security and Privacy by Design (EC SPRIDE)
My own Software Campus Project on the topic of Private Set Intersection
My main research interests are:
cryptographic protocols
secure function evaluation
side-channel attacks and countermeasures
machine learning
