Old Fashioned Coleslaw

8 cups of Green Cabbage, chopped

3 cups of Red Cabbage, chopped

2 cups carrots, chopped

3 cups red delicious or gala apples, peel on and chopped

1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)


1 cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

3 to 4 tablespoon sugar (to taste)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1 dash hot sauce (to taste)


Chop all the vegetables and the apple then place them into a large mixing bowl.

Pour the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and hot sauce to a jar and shake until completed blended.

Add the sauce to the slaw mix and mix until all the vegetables and apples have been covered. Chill for at least 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Refrigerate immediately before and after serving.
