Takashi Miyaki received his B.A. degree in environmental information from Keio University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in informatics from The University of Tokyo, in 2003, 2005 and 2008, respectively. He is currently a Project Associate Professor at The University of Tokyo Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, and responsible for an endowed chair by Sony dedicated for research and education on Human Augmentation. He is also affiliated with Open Innovation Lab. of Information Services International-Dentsu (ISID) as a research fellow. Before that, he was also with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and Inria Lille (France) from 2010 to 2015. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Augmentation and Ubiquitous Computing. His current research focuses on the development and evaluation of interactive systems that augment human capabilities using advanced computer vision, augmented reality, and machine learning technologies.
