Getting ready to deploy moorings means assembling more and more equipment... today we spent most of the day organizing the deck of the ship and setting things out for a 6am start tomorrow morning. We are going to put out a 1400m mooring with a moored profiler that walks up and down about 1200m of wire with another current meter at the bottom measuring currents 100m above the bottom. We are going to strap a bunch of temperature sensors to this mooring line to collect temperature every 1 second

After that, we are going to deploy another mooring with 2 more current meters and more temperature loggers.
Its going to make for a busy day so its good to get ready. Luckily we have a lot of amazing volunteers helping us out on this trip.
