Workshops with Rebecca Rorick-Smith

The MIT Tango club is happy to welcome Rebecca Rorick-Smith to Boston. 
She is back in town for a short time and will be teaching workshops on Nov 4 & 5

Instructor's Bio

Rebecca began studying Argentine Tango in 1999 in Eugene, Oregon while pursuing her BFA. Since then her feet have never stopped dancing!! From 2000 Rebecca has lived and taught within numerous communities in the USA, and around the world. She worked for many years with Eric Lindgren through the MIT Tango Club. Since leaving Boston she has been teaching and living in Berlin. You can find her at the big Tango schools of Berlin: Mala Junta and Tangotanzenmachtshoen. Rebecca has always believed in the transformative capacity that learning Tango brings and is fueled by the metamorphosis of her students. She offers students accessible compassionate guidance combined with a deep understanding of both following and leading, movement, music, and technique.

1:30-3:00 pm, Tango Basics 'the whole Enchilada'- Walking in Close Embrace, Connection, Systems, Floorcraft and Music (all levels)

3:30-5:00 pm, Tango Vals (Advanced beginner/Intermediate)
